There is something magical about going to sleep one night, with light flakes of snow drifting beneath a golden lamppost, set against the sky's ebony canvas, and then opening your curtains the next morning to see a fresh blanket of snow under a fluffy blue and pink sky.
The symbolism of a new beginning is undeniable - the brightness of the reflecting ice and its glittery shimmer have a healthy feeling about them, and its beauty brings you closer to nature (which may be especially helpful if you have found yourself lulled back into a repeating routine of school or work).
If the weather is beautiful and snowy where you are, be sure to make a journey into its glistening whiteness, breathe in the crisp New Year air, and take some time to be very hygge and reconnect with the outdoors.
