Merry Christmas Eve! I have been been excited for this Christmas since October, so I was ecstatic when this Christmas Eve brought us a beautiful blanket of snow. Home became the white Christmas that all of those Christmas songs sing about. I can't remember a snowy Christmas before - perhaps a frosty Christmas, but this was extra special.
The plants in our garden received a generous coating of snow, and the pink shed looked like the perfect candy grotto!
The rockery is so Jurassic, so it was phenomenal to see it coated in snowflakes!
Whilst the midday sun was shining we walked by the fields, and we got to see the distant villages sprinkled with a light dusting of the morning's snowfall.
